Automated Manufacturing Systems
Teams collaborate to design and prototype a sensor-based mechatronic solution to an onsite manufacturing problem. Teams build and program the system, document its logic and operating instructions in an Engineer’s Guide, and demonstrate the system to judges.

Format
Teams have 20 minutes to set up, 25 minutes to plan, and two and a half hours to build and program their solution. The system must complete at least two autonomous cycles, followed by a five-minute interview.
